2008-06-24 Because of incorrect scramble preparation for Grzegorz Prusak in third attempt Square-1 during Polish Open 2008, WCA decided to cancel his World records, single and mean. Despite this decision Grzegorz stays the winner of this event. Here is the official WCA message.

2008-02-27 There has been taken a final decision about canceling all the blindfolded results of Matyas Kuti. As a result Polish speedcubers has been advanced, but the most worldshaking are:

Rafał Guzewicz:
1. 3x3x3 blindfold
- third place during PO 2006
- second place and also Europe record during PO 2007
- first place during WC 2007
- Europe record during GO 2008
2. 3x3x3 multiblindfold
- first place and also World record during WC 2007
Additionally these changes take effect Polish team ranks the first place in the World in medal classification at the gone Rubik's World Championship in Budapest in 2007 year! Now, let us congratulate ourselves :)

2007-08-31 In two weeks there will take place The Third Polish Official Rubiks Championship 2007. At presentday there are registered: 41 competitors from Poland and 14 competitors from seven countries (except Poland), not only from Europe.
We remind you about approaching finish of registration to The Third Polish Championship 2007. This year (in contrary to past years) there will be no possibility to register „at the competition” - registration expires September 09, 2007 (one week before competition).
Persons that has been already registered are asked to check their registration in the competitors' list and to remind their speedcubers friedns about approaching date of obligatory registration.

2006-09-17 Tomasz Żołnowski won The Second Polish Open Rubiks Championship 2006 with an average in the final of 15.51 seconds, Lars Vandenbergh from Belgium was second with 16.28 and Łukasz Ciałoń was third with 16.70.

28 moves single fewest moves - equaled World record by Zbigniew Zborowski,
33 1/2 moves average fewest moves - World record by Zbigniew Zborowski,
4.16 seconds single Pyraminx - World record by Piotr Kózka.
8.46 seconds average Pyraminx - World record by Grzegorz Łuczyna.
Of course most of the categories in single and average are new Polish records.

The fastest time in 3x3 cube has got again Tomasz Żołnowski and it was 13.42 seconds. The longest distance for participating in Polish Open 2006 has been made by Katsuyuki Konishi from Japan!

For persons that cannot come to Wadowice we propose taking part via internet, where except of results updated currently, there will be video transmision and chat. 2006-07-27 I invite you to media (menu at the left), where you can find updated press informations concerning June's marathon.
2006-06-24 Zbigniew Zborowski broke the official WCA cube marathon record, solving 3,390 Rubik's cubes in 24 hours. The old record was 3,141 cubes, set in February 2006 by Brent Morgan. A group of 6 Polish cubers (Lukasz Cialon 3355, Adam Wojtyla 2540, Zbigniew Zborowski 3390, Artur Justynski 2162, Adrian Banas 2481 and Tadeusz Tomala 2011) solved a total of 15,939 cubes in 24 hours.

2006-06-16 I remind you the approaching marathon (just in a week!) and I invite everybody who has the possibility to visit the school that day/night (the gymnastic hall, where this "crazy" takes place, will be opened all the time).
For those, who for objective reasons will not be in Wadowice at this time I propose taking part online via internet (Polish Marathon in main menu at the left, then english), where except online cameras and results updated every quatter, you may find other details of this enterprise.

I am very pleased to announce that on the September 16th/17th, 2006 Second Polish Official Rubiks Championship will be held. Similarly to last year, this officiallity will be secured by nobody but Ron van Bruchem - living legend of the world speedcubing, who will be with us and will personally confirm the compliance with International WCA (World Cube Association) Regulations.
Everyone interested is asked now to reserve this date, to book his hotel room and travel and to register with the special form, which you can find in menu "Polish Champs/english/registration".

It must be said, that the level of this championship was very high. Let me only say, that many Europe and even World records were broken here! Here they are:
39.22 seconds single 3x3 one-handed - Europe record by Jarek Nowicki,
43.91 seconds mean 3x3 one-handed - Europe record by Jarek Nowicki,
4.49 seconds single 2x2 - Europe record by Łukasz Ciałoń,
6.96 seconds average 2x2 - Europe record by Łukasz Ciałoń,
73.67 seconds mean 4x4 - Europe record by Ron van Bruchem,
1.52 seconds average Magic - World record by Josef Jelinek,
11.22 seconds average Piramida - World record by Piotr Kózka.
Of course most of the categories in single and average are new Polish records.
Other destinguishes:
The Pole with the highest position in main category was Piotr Kózka, who did not let the first position abroad. The youngest competitor that solved the 3x3 cube was nine-year-old Wiktoria Zborowska, and her time was 1 minute 13.15 seconds. The fastest time in 3x3 cube has got Zbigniew Zborowski and it was 14.74 seconds. The longest distance for participating in Polish Open 2005 has been made by Antonio Gallego from Spain!

2005-07-22 In menu Mistrzostwa/english/registration there is a possibility to subscribe for the tournament. I encourage you to do that. Let the motivation be the fact, that since today I will email everybody registered about the most important cases considering the championship.
If someone delays the registration because of not making the final decision about the categories to start, I inform that you may correct that every moment and add or delete some categories, even in the morning at the day of the tournament! So, everybody interested is invited to register :)

2005-07-10 English version about Polish Championship has come into existence today. Press Polish flag at the upper left of the frame to come into Polish version.
Polish speedcubers are asked to register using Polish version of the form.
2005-07-01 Pay attention in the window above is now the word "Open". It means that competitors from outside Poland can compete. But it does not change the fact, that the independent Polish Official Ranking will rise.

I am very pleased to announce that on the September 18th, 2005 First Polish Official Rubiks Championship will be held. This officiallity will be secured by nobody but Ron van Bruchem - living legend of the world speedcubing, who will be with us and will personally confirm the compliance with International WCA (World Cube Association) Regulations.
About all the details I will inform you instantly, as soon as organization team resolves new questions. Particularly registration will be proceed with the special form, via Internet of course.
Everyone interested is asked now to reserve this date.
